UPG Pipe Systems have worked along the installer on this project to provide a pipe system that is best suited for the demanding high use, high temperature trade waste pipework replacement at Levin Meats. The exsiting pipeline has been causing problems for years with blocking and failures. With temperatures running at 95°C+ for consistent periods of time, PP Drainage pipework has been installed and a range of adaptor fittings manufactured by UPG have been fabricated to connect existing floor drain positions and the new pipework.

Pipe sizes were 160mm mains with 110mm, 50mm offtakes. The various stages of installation has gone smoothly and been completed within the shut-down periods – made easier with the rubber ring jointing system which isn’t always suitable, but worked perfectly for this project!

Dynatherm PP-RCT pipework has also been installed on this site for heating water loop pipework around the plantroom.
