We can also supply Fibreglass grating to locate on top of benching opening where diameters are large to ensure no risk to contractors servicing the chamber at a later date.
The UPG Process
Example Project: Eastern Busway Project-Auckland
Below is the UPG Process with images from this project. Pipline materials were existing AC on inlets, with new PE450 SDR11 main for the outlet and connection with EF Coupling.
Clients provide site plans from engineer drawings. At this stage, we confirm pipe inlet & outlet material types and an approximate angle.

UPG technical team put together design and drawing with any suggested changes to ensure fabrication can be achieved in our workshops.
Detailed design drawings
At this stage client to check drawing and confirm invert levels and final angles. Costing also confirmed based on detailed design by our team.
Fabrication Process
UPG commence fabrication of the custom HDPE Channel to the design provided. Extra box height can be provided to then trim down on site.
Ready for delivery with timber to support riserbox
It is important to do a final site check before performing your cut in or install. Manhole is normally positioned once the pipeline has been connected.
