OMISA’s all-purpose electrofusion welder HST–S–160 offers easy, convenient, and expert welding of HDPE drainage fittings sized 40 – 160mm non-pressure drainage applications.
Controlled by a microcontroller, this next-generation welder for single-hand operation is equipped with a feature that compensates temperature and welding duration in jointing applications in non-pressurised networks with fittings from Coes, Geberit, Valsir, Akatherm, Eurofusion, Waviduo and Vulcathene-Euro.
The welding process is monitored for its full duration, and all relevant information is displayed on the seven-segment screen. The standard delivery includes a handheld scraper meant for professional pipe preparation before the welding operation.
With its very compact dimensions, a weight of approx. 1.4 kg, and its long power supply and welding cables, the welder offers an enormous working radius.
We also offer double-up welding leads as a optional extra so you can weld two fittings per cycle.

This HDPE Drainge electrofusion machine is suitable for welding electrofusion fittings in HDPE from Ø 32 to Ø 160 mm (1” IPS – 5” IPS, for low pressure conduits (Vulcathene-Eurofusion, Akatherm-Eurofusion, Geberit, Valsir, Coes, Waviduo). MUSTANG 160 V2 automatically detects connection to the fitting to be welded and compensates current supplied according to ambient temperature. It is also capable of detecting any malfunction that could occur before or during welding procedures. MUSTANG 160 V2 is made in compliance with the current safety standards and Directives, and the structure is light weight which makes it extremely easy to carry around.
