CaseCore End Seal Closed and Open
Ø 16-90 mm
The CaseCore End Seal is an elastomeric casing end seal designed to close the annular space between the carrier pipe and casing pipe, preventing the ingress of water, soil and debris while helping protect the carrier pipe against corrosion.
Available in two configurations to suit both new installations and retrofit projects.
Available Variants
- CaseCore End Seal Closed – A one-piece conical end seal designed for new pipeline installations where the seal can be installed before the carrier pipe is fully assembled.
- CaseCore End Seal Open – A split conical end seal designed for retrofit applications, allowing installation around existing pipelines without disconnecting the carrier pipe.
Key Application
The CaseCore End Seals range is suitable for a wide range of infrastructure projects, including:
- Water transmission pipelines
- Wastewater and sewer networks
- Stormwater drainage systems
- Gas pipelines
- Utility crossings
- Road and railway crossings
- Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD)
- Building wall penetrations
- Industrial process pipelines
- Pump stations
- Water treatment facilities
- Civil and infrastructure projects

CaseCore ASTM End Seal
CaseCore ASTM End Seal closes the gap between a casing pipe and the carrier pipe(s) running through it, keeping groundwater, silt and debris out of casing crossings and multi-service penetrations. Made from soft PVC across a standard range of DN combinations, from 50 x 200mm through to 1050 x 1400mm (other dimensions on request), each seal is fabricated to order rather than held as stock. To quote or order, we need five measurements: casing OD, casing wall thickness, spacer height, carrier pipe OD(s), and the position of each carrier pipe in the casing. Standard colour is red, with stainless steel tightening straps for the casing and each carrier pipe opening. Where a crossing faces higher external water pressure, ask about the KMR configuration, which adds a sealing compound and double straps for extra tightness.
Key Application
- Casing crossings under roads, rail lines and waterways
- Horizontal directional drilled (HDD) casing installations
- Multi-service casing penetrations, e.g. a water main and cable ducts sharing one casing
- Retrofit sealing of existing casing/carrier pipe systems
- Water, wastewater and utility infrastructure where carrier pipes pass through a protective casing

CaseCore AKT/AWM End Seal
CaseCore AKT/AWM End Seal is moulded from high-quality EPDM rubber and provides a pressure-less seal of the annular space between a casing pipe and the carrier pipe running through it, keeping the casing dry and protecting the carrier pipe from corrosion. Its conic profile is field-cut on site, so a single seal size fits a range of carrier pipe diameters rather than needing an exact factory match. Just seven standard sizes cover carrier pipes up to 800mm OD, keeping stockholding simple. The AWM version ships in a compact, wave-shaped form for easier transport and storage, then unfolds to its full conic sealing shape on installation. Fitting is straightforward, no special tools, just the supplied adjustable stainless steel straps. Rated across a wide temperature band of -40°C to +120°C, and produced under a DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 certified quality system. Not designed for pressure-tight applications, where the annular space itself needs to hold pressure, use a pressure-tight seal type such as KMR instead.
Key Application
- Cased pipeline crossings: road, rail or waterway crossings where a carrier pipe runs inside a casing pipe
- Sealing the annular space at the casing pipe end to stop dirt and moisture reaching the carrier pipe, the main corrosion risk in these installations
- New pipeline builds
- Retrofit work on existing casing pipe
- Not suited to applications where the annular space itself needs to hold pressure, that calls for a pressure-tight seal type such as KMR
