UPG PE Welded Pulling Heads are precision-engineered for safe, reliable pipe installation using horizontal directional drilling (HDD) and pull-in techniques. European made and available in a complete range from 40mm to 1000mm diameter, they’re built to perform under demanding conditions.
Built for strength.
Every pulling head features a certified eyebolt tested to all relevant standards. Steel components—bolts, washers, and fasteners—are selected and calculated to withstand required pulling forces. PE machined cones are manufactured with proper thickness to ensure durability and safety during operation. Ends are tapered to suit SDR11/17 pipe specifications.

Pull ratings range from 3.7 kN for 40mm pipe up to 1193.0 kN for 710mm— covering everything from service lines to major infrastructure.
