Ritmo Rotary Scrapers – RTC

These professional rotary scrapers, designed and patented by Ritmo, are essential for the preparation of PE pipe and fittings prior to electrofusion welding.

PE pipe scrapers remove the oxidised surface layer caused by UV light. If not removed, the oxidised surface of the pipe or fitting will not bond with the electrofusion fitting thus compromising the joint integrity.

Key benefits of all RTC scrapers include:

Low rotational mass. Reduces the ‘wobble’ effect when peeling pipe ends. Achieve by using a centralised chuck to hold the scraper
Spring loaded blade to maintain a consistent ribbon peel.
Simple to use – Once the chuck is secured in the end of the pipe. The scraping head is threaded on and you can begin peeling.
Robust carry case.

RTC315 – Peels pipe from 75-315mm (58-300mmID)

RTC500 – Peels pipe from 180-500mm (180-485mmID)

RTC710 – Peels pipe from 355-710mm. The main chuck has four extendable arms that clamp the inside of the pipe or fitting.

PrepMaster Pipe Scrapers

PrepMaster Multi scrapers incorporate a hardened tungsten carbide blade and give a controlled depth of cut. Available for pipe sizes between 63 and 710mm, each tool with a large working range.

The tool features a replaceable 4 edge tungsten scraping tip and lightweight die-cast aluminum body construction.

It’s easy to use, with a spring loaded scraping tip to accommodate irregular shaped pipe, and has excellent performance characteristics. PS Pipe Scrapers

PS Pipe scrapers feature extendable arms to hold the scraper centrally on pipe/fittings.

These tools have an adjustable chuck covering the full working range, and a blade holder orbital arm. The PS series guarantees a constant and regular removal of the oxidised layer. The scrapers blade holder permits the scraping of the entire EF Coupling length, most useful when doing on site repairs.
