UPG’s Welding Wipes are made with 99.8% isopropyl alcohol to suit New Zealand conditions and are made with a high quality fabric cloth that will not tear or melt if using on a butt-welder heater plate.

ISO welding wipes are used for ensuring the surface of pipe/fittings are free from contamination.

When using during the electrofusion preparation stage, after scraping the pipe and ensuring the pipe surface is free from dust and dirt, clean the area with isopropyl wipes.

These wipes are preferred by many butt welding contractors due to the quality of the wipe.
