PolyBench ©

Designed to guide wastewater smoothly into the main channel, our PolyBench© system offers a modern, durable alternative to traditional concrete. It’s lightweight, resistant to corrosion and chemicals, and provides a smoother surface that reduces maintenance and increases lifetime compared to traditional install methods of haunching and benching.

PolyBench© is a method used to form channel in the base of a manhole so that the the sloped surfaces — known as “benching” — at the base of a manhole can be poured using concrete up to the PolyBench© section, with the open aperture box providing visibility of flow through the pipeline

It allows for faster installation with consistent quality, making it ideal for both new infrastructure and rehabilitation projects.

We offer two standard setups:

1) Installed internally of manhole chamber for internal pipe connections within benching pour

2) External corbel connection where PolyBench© will have long legs for external corbel and pipe connections (and then manhole riser installed later)

High Quality HDPE Benching

Key Benefits

  • Installation timeframes are significantly quicker than traditional benching
  • Technical drawing provided for your signoff
  • Flexibility of design to suit your site. Fabricated to suit your connections
  • Suitable for all types of pipelines or differing inlets and outlets (for example HDPE outlet, to existing AC on inlet pipeline or (GRP, PVC, HDPE, Concrete)
  • Quick changeovers if on the existing pipeline – minimising shutdown, overpumping etc as connections can be made live before benching concrete has set
  • Permanent solution – long life benefits of HDPE
  • Aperture box can be adjusted in height to cut down onsite
