Levin Waste Water Treatment Plant

About the project

Levin Waste Water Treatment Plant

Stream PE100 pipework has been installed to replace rusted out 150mm steel sludge lines running at elevated heights at the Levin WWTP. With the shut-down window being tight, UPG have prefabricated multiple sections to cut down the number of welds and potential for delays when installing. Some extra supports have been installed at the same time. Sections such as flanged tees, offsets with 50mmBSP drains directly welded as pictured.
Stream PE100 is perfect being 100% UV resistant and corrosion resistant so this pipeline doesn’t have to be replaced in the next 50+ years!
