The Pauanui Wastewater Treatment Plant system required an upgrade to increase the capacity of the existing system and build in redundancy. The project involved the installation of a new biological scrubber system at the wastewater treatment plant.

UPG provided our Stream PE100 system for the foul air / odour pipework including prefabricated spool sections and site-welding to complete the installation for the contractor, including connections to all valves, controls and drain points.

HDPE is a great product for odour pipework due to its chemical resistance, smooth surface, fusion welded joints, and excellent durability against corrosive environments.
