Great project to be apart of alongside HEB Construction to deliver the PE pipelines, valves and connections for a new reservoir build in Porirua. With mains pipe being 500mm and 400mm SDR11, we worked with the contractor to prefabricate some larger sections in our workshop to minimise the number of welds required onsite. This included some last minute offsets to go around existing services onsite where our team worked close with the site team to help plan our work schedule so we didn’t end up with delays due to extra bends required to avoid these services.

Awesome result for the client, and showcases UPG’s capabilities on a critical infrastructure project like this.
